Bill Apter pitches an idea for a match between one half of the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions, Sami Zayn and Dominik Mysterio.
Dominique and Zayn are as different as chalk and cheese. While Sami Zayn is the universally adored babyface, Dominik Mysterio is a despicable villain. The two previously competed on the September 3, 2021 edition of SmackDown, though under very different circumstances. At the show, Zayn defeated a member of The Judgment Day when the former was a heel while the latter was a babyface.
On Sportskeeda Wrestling’s Unscripted, Bill Apter shares his desire to see this unique dynamic sport in the ring. The Hall of Fame journalist explained that he wanted to see the current version of Dominik Mysterio go to war with former Honorary Ushi.
“You know what this makes me think? It makes me think of Sami vs. Dominik,” said Bill Apter. (32:18 – 32:24)

Elsewhere in the chat, Bill Apter stated that he was interested in WWE, specifically in creating a new championship for Dominik Mysterio. He dubbed the 26-year-old as the “mysterious king”.

Sami Zayn and Dominik Mysterio have both been drafted to the red brand, so it’s safe to say they could have a match. Furthermore, Judgment Day could be the perfect challenger to the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship held by Zayn and Kevin Owens.
